Angelo Badalamenti

Angelo Badalamenti, born in Brooklyn in 1938, made a name for himself as a composer working closely with filmmaker David Lynch. Their collaboration on projects such as Blue Velvet and Twin Peaks led to the creation of iconic and evocative music that defined their work together. Badalamenti's classical training and early career in performing and arranging for various artists set the stage for his successful foray into the film industry, culminating in his diverse body of work that includes not only film scores, but also albums with Julee Cruise and experimental theater pieces. In 1996, he explored a new musical direction by partnering with James vocalist Tim Booth for the album Booth and the Bad Angel.
