Andy Kim

Andy Kim, a successful pop singer, songwriter, and producer in the 1960s and '70s, experienced a career resurgence in the new millennium. Born Andrew Youakim in Montreal, Canada, Kim's breakout came with the hit "How'd We Ever Get This Way" in 1968. He later found success with the Archies and solo hits like "So Good Together" and "Rock Me Gently."

In the 1990s, Kim connected with Canadian musicians like Ed Robertson of Barenaked Ladies, leading to collaborations and performances with notable artists. He launched the annual Andy Kim Christmas Show in 2005, featuring Canadian pop stars. Kim released a comeback album, "Happen Again," in 2010, and continued collaborations with artists like Kevin Drew of Broken Social Scene, resulting in the indie-influenced album "It's Decided" in 2015.
