Biography

Drummer Stacy Jones, known for his work with '90s alternative acts Letters to Cleo and Veruca Salt, founded American Hi-Fi, drawing inspiration from Cheap Trick and rock influences. The band's debut album in 2001 produced the hit single "Flavor of the Weak" before subsequent releases and touring. Despite label changes, American Hi-Fi continued their music journey, eventually forming their own label and releasing albums independently.

Following a hiatus and individual projects, American Hi-Fi regrouped after a successful London show in 2014, reigniting their passion for music. Their album Blood & Lemonade, released in 2014, saw collaboration with Kevin Hunter, leading to a series of projects including an unplugged version of their debut album in 2016. The band's resilience and evolution demonstrate their enduring dedication to their craft.
