Formed in 2007 in San Diego, California, Allstar Weekend is an emo pop quartet consisting of Zachary Porter, Nathan Darmody, Cameron Quiseng, and Michael Martinez. Influenced by bands like blink-182 and icons such as Queen and Elton John, Allstar Weekend gained recognition through early tracks on MySpace, leading to a management deal with Drive-Thru Records. Their debut single, "A Different Side of Me," topped Radio Disney's charts and sold over 100,000 copies, while their debut mini-album, Suddenly, produced by Howard Benson, John Feldmann, and S*A*M & Sluggo, showcased their youthful energy and catchy choruses.

After a successful tour with Selena Gomez in 2011, Allstar Weekend faced a lineup change as Nathan Darmody left the band due to personal reasons. The group continued with Eric Nicolau on guitar, releasing their second album, All the Way, featuring hits like "Not Your Birthday" and "Blame It on September." With a versatile sound and a knack for engaging performances, Allstar Weekend continued to captivate audiences with their infectious pop melodies and energetic live shows.
