Alan Silvestri

Alan Silvestri, an Academy Award-nominated American film composer, is renowned for his longstanding collaboration with director Robert Zemeckis on blockbuster classics like Forrest Gump (1994) and The Polar Express (2004), which earned him an Oscar nomination for Best Original Song. Silvestri's versatile career also includes scoring multiple Marvel films like Captain America: The First Avenger (2011) and Avengers: Infinity War (2018), as well as his recent work on the 2022 remake of Disney's Pinocchio alongside Zemeckis.

Growing up in Teaneck, New Jersey, Silvestri's musical journey began playing multiple instruments and eventually led him to Berklee College of Music. He found his niche in film scoring after an early break in the industry, leading to a successful partnership with Zemeckis on acclaimed films such as Back to the Future (1985) and Forrest Gump (1994).
