Formed in Bergen, Norway in 2015 by Olve Eikemo, ABBATH emerged as the solo project of the former IMMORTAL frontman following his departure from the band. Eikemo had previously explored his musical capabilities with the short-lived project I before assembling a new lineup for the critically acclaimed self-titled debut album Abbath and its follow-up Outstrider. The upcoming release of Dread Reaver is set to solidify ABBATH's position as a frontrunner in the metal scene.
