A-Trak, born Alain Macklovitch on March 30, 1982, is a Canadian DJ, record producer, and executive known for his turntable skills and genre-spanning work. As president of Fool's Gold Records since its founding in 2007, he has played a key role in launching the careers of artists like Kid Cudi and Danny Brown. A-Trak is also one half of the DJ duo Duck Sauce, earning a Grammy nomination in 2012 for their track "Barbra Streisand."
With a career spanning over two decades, A-Trak rose to fame as a World Champion turntablist and as Kanye West's original tour DJ. Renowned for his contributions to DJ culture, he has been recognized by Rolling Stone as one of the 50 Most Important People in EDM and has graced the covers of Billboard and Complex magazines.
