Biography

A Static Lullaby formed in 2001 in Orange County, CA, after members decided to leave their existing bands. Their self-released Withered EP sparked interest, leading to a deal with Ferret Records in 2002. The band's debut album, ...And Don't Forget to Breathe, produced by Steve Evetts, was released in 2003, followed by a year of touring that strained relationships within the group.

Despite lineup changes and label shifts, A Static Lullaby released Faso Latido in 2005, joined the Taste of Chaos tour, and underwent further member departures in 2006. Regrouping with a refreshed lineup, they released a self-titled album in 2006 and continued touring. More lineup changes followed, leading to the release of Rattlesnake! in 2008.
