Biography

Ukrainian duo 5'Nizza, formed in 2000 in Kharkov, blended reggae, hip-hop, soul, folk-rock, and Latin influences in their minimal acoustic sound. Consisting of guitarist Sergey Babkin and singer Andrey "Sun" Zaporozhets, the duo's easygoing tunes featured sung and rapped vocals with beatboxed drums. Their official self-titled debut in 2003 and second album O5 in 2005, with more sophisticated arrangements, boosted their popularity before disbanding in 2007. In 2015, 5'Nizza reunited for a tour, releasing new songs as part of a retrospective album, All in One, encompassing both of their albums.
