COASTS

Formed in Bristol, England in 2011, Coasts is an electro-indie rock band featuring Chris Caines (vocals), Liam Willford (guitar), James Gamage (bass), David Goulbourn (keyboards), and Ben Street (drums). After the release of their debut single "Stay" in 2012, the band gained recognition and praise from BBC broadcaster Huw Stephens. Coasts' energetic sound drew comparisons to bands like Two Door Cinema Club and Foals, leading to the release of their self-titled debut LP in 2016 and their sophomore album This Life: Vol.1 in 2017, which included the single "Heart Stops Beating."

Known for their spirited and hook-driven music, Coasts emerged from university in Bath to make a mark on the indie rock scene. Their debut EP "Paradise" in 2013 set the stage for a series of successful singles and high-profile festival appearances, solidifying their reputation as a rising talent in the industry. With a sound reminiscent of bands like Phoenix, Coasts signed with Warner Bros. and continued to captivate audiences with their dynamic performances and evolving musical style.
