Illinois indie-rock band Braid, a key figure in second wave emo alongside acts like The Get Up Kids and Jimmy Eat World, distinguished themselves with urgent, less poppy albums driven by the dynamic interplay of co-frontmen Bob Nanna and Chris Broach. After disbanding in 1999 post their genre-defining album "Frame & Canvas," Braid reunited in 2004 and rekindled their passion for both old and new music, releasing the "Closer To Closed" EP in 2011 and the acclaimed "No Coast" LP in 2014. Known for their signature dual vocals and melodic yet dissonant guitars, Braid's lineup includes Bob Nanna on vocals/guitar, Chris Broach on vocals/guitar, Todd Bell on bass, and Damon Atkinson on drums, showcasing exceptional musical skill and enduring influence in the emo/indie scene.
