Boyz N da Hood, a rap group from Atlanta consisting of Miguel "Big Gee" Scott, Lee "Big Duke" Dixon, Jay "Young Jeezy" Jenkins, and Jacoby "Jody Breeze" White, was formed by Russell "Block" Spencer of Sho'Nuff Records and signed with P. Diddy's Bad Boy label. Their self-titled debut album was released in 2005, attracting significant label interest. After Young Jeezy's departure for a successful solo career following the release of his debut album, Gorilla Zoe joined the group for their second album, Back Up N da Chevy, in 2007.
