In September 2017, Ball released his first rap single, "Melo Ball 1", followed by "ZO2" the same month, and "Super Saiyan" in October, drawing inspiration from his family and interests. On February 15, 2018, he debuted his album, "Born 2 Ball," under the name Zo, through Big Baller Music Group, a subsidiary of the Big Baller Brand. The album reached No. 42 on Billboard's Independent Albums chart and No. 13 on its Heatseekers Albums chart.

In June 2020, Ball released his project "BBA" through Equity Distribution, showcasing his continued musical endeavors.
