Lorenzo "Zo!" Ferguson, a musician with a background in hip-hop production, is primarily known as a keyboardist who also plays bass, drums, and guitar. Influenced by artists like Stevie Wonder and Leon Sylvers III, he has released solo albums every three years from 2010 to 2019, collaborating with the Foreign Exchange. Ferguson has also ventured into writing and producing music for film and television, including projects like Black Dynamite and Sherman's Showcase. In 2021, he collaborated with Tall Black Guy on the release of Abstractions.

Born in Detroit, Lorenzo Ferguson initially pursued a career in baseball before transitioning to music. He released several instrumental albums in the early 2000s and gained recognition for his collaborations with artists like Slum Village and Little Brother. Ferguson's partnership with the Foreign Exchange led to a series of solo projects, with his albums featuring guest vocalists such as Phonte and Sy Smith. Alongside his music career, Ferguson holds a Master's degree in special education and has contributed to various recordings. His most recent project, Abstractions, showcases his continued musical evolution.
