Dominic Wettig, known by his stage name Zate, was born on May 19, 1992, and is a German rapper from Neukölln, Berlin. He began his active music career approximately 5 years ago, drawing inspiration from personal experiences since childhood. Zate's music stands out in the rap genre for its focus on introspective themes such as loss, neglect, and heartbreak, rather than materialistic displays.

Growing up as the third of 3 siblings, Zate faced challenges early on, often feeling neglected by his parents and lacking a stable family environment.
