Biography

Yungstar, a rapper from the west side of Houston, began his music career at the age of ten. In the early '90s, he collaborated with DenDen of Straight Profit Records. He gained recognition for his freestyling over DJ Screw's tapes and achieved national exposure through a guest feature on Lil' Troy's "Wanna Be a Baller." Yungstar released his debut album, Throwed Yung Playa, through Straight Profit Records, selling 40,000 copies. The album was later re-released by Epic Records in 2000. His second album, Ballin' Underground, was released in 2002 under Straight Profit Records.
