Young Money is a rap group associated with Lil Wayne and the Cash Money record label. Formed in 2009 after years of mixtape appearances, the group, led by Lil Wayne, features members such as Drake, Jae Millz, Gudda Gudda, Mack Maine, Nicki Minaj, Lil Chuckee, and Lil' Twist. Their debut single, "Every Girl," and album, We Are Young Money, were released in 2009 through Cash Money in partnership with Universal Music. In 2013, Cash Money released the single "Tapout" by a similar group, Rich Gang, which included Lil Wayne, Mack Maine, and Nicki Minaj, among others.
A second album was announced by Young Money in late 2012, but ultimately did not materialize. The group's membership has remained fluid over the years, with collaborations featuring artists like Birdman and Future.
