Biography

Young Jeezy, also known as Jeezy, began his music career by founding Corporate Thugz Entertainment and promoting Cash Money releases before making his solo debut on Def Jam. His independently distributed debut album, "Come Shop wit' Me," reportedly sold over 50,000 copies in 2003. As a member of Boyz N da Hood, he released a self-titled album that debuted in the Top Ten of the Billboard 200 in 2005. Jeezy's solo album, "Let's Get It: Thug Motivation 101," narrowly missed the top spot on the Billboard 200 and eventually went platinum, establishing him as a prominent figure in the rap genre with multiple platinum and gold certifications, Grammy nominations, and a string of Top Ten albums and singles.

Following the success of his debut album, Jeezy released "The Inspiration: Thug Motivation 102" in 2006, which became his first number one album. Subsequent albums like "The Recession" and "Seen It All: The Autobiography" continued his chart-topping success, with hit singles like "Put On" and "Lose My Mind." Jeezy's later releases, including "Church in These Streets" and "Trap or Die 3," maintained his position as a leading artist in the industry, with "Pressure" in 2017 featuring collaborations with both emerging and established artists.
