Ykee Benda

Ykee Benda is a Ugandan musician, songwriter, and producer signed to Mpaka Records Music Label. He debuted on Coke Studio Africa in 2017, collaborating with Jah Prayzah and Mr Bow. Benda began his professional career in November 2015, winning Breakthrough Artist and Best Collaboration of the Year at the Zzina Awards in Uganda. He draws inspiration from African contemporary music and Afro Beat, producing his own tracks and writing songs for himself and other artists. In addition to his music career, Benda is involved in supporting girl education through the Reach a Hand initiative.
