Biography

Yener Çevik, born on September 20, 1979, in a suburb of Izmir, originally hails from Oltu, Erzurum. Influenced by Orhan Gencebay and Run DMC, he developed his own style by blending Arabesque and rap music. Starting with performances in school, he later participated in music festivals like J&B Müzik Festivali and H 2000, contributing to the early Turkish rap scene.

In 2012, Yener Çevik was involved in a traffic accident while traveling from Istanbul to Izmir, resulting in multiple fractures throughout his body. After successful surgeries and rehabilitation, he returned to the music scene, releasing the album "Sokak Dili ve Edebiyatı" in 2016.
