Yerik Emil Navarro Mosquera, born on July 14, 1995 in Panama City, is a Panamanian artist with a passion for urban, hip hop, rap, and R&B music. He began composing songs at the age of thirteen and recorded his first tracks in 2015 under the artist name Yemil, derived from the abbreviation of his name. His early releases gained popularity in Panama, leading to collaborations with established artists and his first record deal with New Wave. Transitioning to Panama Music Corp in 2017, Yemil continued to release successful tracks like "El Amor No Es Suerte" and "Rosa Marchita."
In 2019, Yemil embarked on a new phase in his career with the release of his debut album "The Yeyo: Renaissance" under his independent label, The Yeyo Movement. Building on his success, he released his second album "NINUS: NOTHING IS NEW UNDER SUN" in 2021, showcasing his growth and emotional depth to his audience.
