Yahtzel, born Max Armata, is a 24-year-old Australian artist who has made a name for himself in the indie-dance scene. His single "High With Me" gained over 18 million plays since its release in 2013 and was featured on various platforms, including TheSoundYouNeed and InTheMix. Yahtzel has performed at numerous festivals in Australia and internationally, including Listen Out, Falls Festival, Holy Ship, and Electric Forest. He has also received recognition on Triple J radio and is one half of the duo Carmada, which achieved success with a #1 debut on iTunes AU and performances at festivals like Ultra Miami and Splendour In The Grass.
In addition to his solo career, Yahtzel collaborates with L D R U in Carmada, a Gold-Accredited (ARIA) duo formed in 2014. Their track "Maybe" reached #41 in the Triple J Hottest 100 and garnered attention from industry heavyweights like Skrillex and Diplo. Yahtzel is set to release his debut single on ODESZA's Foreign Family Collective in 2017 and will be embarking on a tour from August to December of the same year.
