Biography
Decibel-crunching Italian metalcore outfit Upon This Dawning formed in the city of Brescia in 2007. Cut from the same cloth as bands like The Devil Wears Prada, Underoath, and Oh, Sleeper, the hard-hitting sextet, which was formed around the talents of vocalist Giani Molinari, guitarist Matteo Botticini, bass player Matteo Leone, keyboardist Andrea Moserle, and drummer Gabriele Magrini, issued its debut EP, Count the Seconds Until Your Last Breath, in Italy in 2007. The group eventually inked a deal with Fearless Records and released its debut full-length, To Keep Us Safe, in 2012. We Are All Sinners, the band's sophomore long-player for the label, followed in 2014, and featured new vocalist Daniele Nelli. ~ James Christopher Monger, Rovi
