Hailing from the tough Paris hip-hop scene in Boulogne Billancourt, French rap artist Salif began honing his unique voice and flow at just 13 years old with his group, Nysay. Recognized for his talent and distinct style, Salif caught the attention of local scene celebrities Zoxea and Beat 2 Boul, leading to collaborations and opportunities with the Lunatic group and IV My People collective. Salif's success continued as he contributed to hit singles like "Eenie Meenie Minny Mo" and worked on projects with renowned artists such as Kool Shen and Orishas, eventually launching his solo career with the release of Boulogne Boy in 2007.
