Santiago Mercado, known as Sael, is an Argentine singer, songwriter, and producer with a passion for music from a young age. After honing his skills in playing various instruments, he delved into music production through online tutorials on YouTube, focusing on beat making. His releases on digital platforms between 2018 and 2019 caught the attention of artists and record labels, leading to collaborations like "La Trampa" with Kevin Roldán and "Perreito" with Mariah, which went gold and received a remix with Arcangel and Darell.

In 2020, Sael caught the eye of producer Sky Rompiendo, who signed him to Black Koi Entertainment. With his debut single "Anoche" and subsequent releases like "Hace Rato" and "Pase Lo Que Pase Remix," featuring Manuel Turizo, Feid, and Andy Rivera, Sael's music gained momentum. His track "Verificada" in 2021 became his first radio hit in Argentina, reaching over a million Spotify listeners and earning rotation on MTV. Sael's success continued with "Me Enseñaste Remix" featuring Duki, achieving a top 40 position on Spotify's Top 50: Argentina and garnering global attention on YouTube, solidifying his presence in the Argentine Reggaeton scene.
