Biography
Rachel's was an American chamber music collective formed in Baltimore in 1991 by violist Christian Frederickson and guitarist Jason Noble. They released six albums on Chicago's Quarterstick Records from 1995 to 2003, blending rock and classical instruments in their genre-defying sound. The group's intricate artwork and hand-printed packaging set them apart, and their music has been featured in various films, TV shows, and theatrical productions. The band toured extensively from 1995 to 2006, incorporating collaborators like pianist Rachel Grimes, drummer Edward Grimes, and visual artist Greg King. Tragically, both Noble and Edward Grimes passed away in 2012 and 2017 respectively, but the surviving members continue to pursue various artistic endeavors.
