Formed by Shane Butler and Anna Fox Rochinski at Boston's School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Quilt blend psychedelic pop with '60s vibes, drawing from Butler's upbringing in a spiritual community and Rochinski's choir experience. After releasing their debut album in 2011, the band underwent lineup changes and honed their sound through extensive touring, leading to their second album, Held in Splendor, in 2014. Their collaboration with visual artist Matt Arnett inspired a unique recording experience for their 2016 album, Plaza, produced by Jarvis Taveniere.
