Quilt

Formed by Shane Butler and Anna Fox Rochinski at Boston's School of the Museum of Fine Arts, Quilt blend psychedelic pop with '60s vibes, drawing from Butler's upbringing in a spiritual community and Rochinski's choir experience. After releasing their debut album in 2011, the band underwent lineup changes and honed their sound through extensive touring, leading to their second album, Held in Splendor, in 2014. Their collaboration with visual artist Matt Arnett inspired a unique recording experience for their 2016 album, Plaza, produced by Jarvis Taveniere.

Quilt's journey has been marked by artistic evolution and collaboration, from their early days crafting music on cassette tapes to their more recent work with acclaimed producers and musicians. Their sound has expanded to include a diverse array of instruments, creating a rich sonic tapestry that complements their dreamy, nostalgic aesthetic. With each album, Quilt continues to push boundaries and explore new creative avenues, cementing their reputation as a band unafraid to experiment and evolve.
