Quad City DJ’s

The production team of C.C. Lemonhead (Nathaniel Orange) and Jay Ski (Johnny McGowan), childhood friends from Jacksonville, FL, ventured into music production inspired by Miami bass. Their collaboration as 95 South resulted in the platinum-selling hit "Whoot (There It Is)" in 1993, leading to further success with artists like Dis-n-Dat and 69 Boyz. Their work on the double-platinum single "Tootsee Roll" earned them accolades, including Billboard's Best Rap Single of 1994, and solidified their position among the top producers of the year.

In 1995, C.C. and Jay Ski joined forces as Quad City DJ's, delivering another platinum hit with "C'Mon N' Ride It (The Train)." Their album "Get on Up and Dance" achieved Top 40 success and received a gold certification, further establishing the duo as prominent figures in the music industry.
