Formed in 2008 by Gökhan Mandır and Hakan Ünalan, PERA gained a significant following with their debut album "Bir Başka Dünya" and second album "Giz." Their third studio album "En Güzel Mevsimim" reached an even larger audience and set multiple records, becoming the only Turkish act to top charts like iTunes Turkey, iTunes Turkish Rock, and Shazam Top 100 for months.
Throughout their career, PERA has had their music featured in over 30 TV series and gained a substantial international following by appearing in shows like Medcezir and the Emmy-winning Kara Sevda. They have been honored with numerous awards for "Best Music Group" by various organizations and universities. With six studio albums and numerous hit singles exceeding millions of views, the band continues to perform over 100 concerts annually and currently works under the Sony Music label.
