Biography

Penguin Prison, an electropop act from New York, debuted in 2009 with Neon Gold Records. Led by Chris Glover, the group draws comparisons to Hot Chip, LCD Soundsystem, and Miike Snow. Glover, a producer and vocalist, gained recognition through remixes for artists like Marina & the Diamonds and Goldfrapp. Penguin Prison released a self-titled debut album in 2011 on Downtown Records and followed up with the '80s synth-pop-inspired Lost in New York in 2015. Throughout his career, Glover has continued to produce music and tour with a full band.
