Pastor Lopez, also known as El Indio Lopez, is a revered Venezuelan singer, songwriter, and musician known for his expertise in tropical music genres such as cumbia, vallenato, paseaíto, and porro. Born in Barquisimeto, Venezuela, he began singing at a young age and made his first recording at five. Lopez gained popularity in the mid-'60s in Venezuela before joining various bands and eventually forming his own group, Pastor López y Su Combo, in 1973.
