Formed in the late '60s by guitarist Norberto Napolitano, Pappo's Blues from Argentina released their self-titled debut album in 1971, followed by the successful Pappo's Blues, Vol. 2 in 1972. The band underwent lineup changes over the years, with a final farewell concert held in 1980 before returning in 1995 with new releases such as Caso Cerrado and El Auto Rojo in 1999.

Pappo's Blues, a Latin/rock band from Argentina, was founded by guitarist Norberto Napolitano in the late '60s. The band gained popularity with their albums in the early '70s, including the hit song "El Tren De Las 16." Despite disbanding in 1980, they made a comeback in 1995 and continued to release new music, showcasing their enduring legacy in the Argentine music scene.
