Biography

Paper Route, a band from Nashville, began in 2004 when Chad Howat started creating music to combat insomnia. With the addition of J.T. Daly and Andy Smith, they released two EPs in 2006 and signed with Universal Records. Their debut album, Absence, was released in 2009, followed by The Peace of Wild Things in 2012. The band toured extensively and released singles before signing with Sony's Kemosabe Records, leading to the release of their third album, Real Emotion, in 2016.

Throughout their career, Paper Route has blended pop/rock with electronic elements and gained recognition through key placements in TV and film. Despite lineup changes, the band has continued to evolve their sound and build a loyal following, touring with notable acts and consistently releasing new music that showcases their unique blend of genres.
