Oliver Dragojević, born on December 7, 1947, began his musical journey at the age of five when he picked up the harmonica, his first instrument. Over half a century has passed since then, yet the magic of Oliver's music remains undiminished, shining just as brightly today. He started performing with the group Batali in 1964 and made his debut at the Split Music Festival in 1967 with the song "Picaferaj," which did not achieve significant success. Following this, Oliver honed his craft by playing in various clubs across Western Europe until 1972. His collaboration with Zdenko Runjić began with "Picaferaj," resulting in an extensive collection of songs born from their artistic and social connection of immeasurable value. Oliver released his first album, "Ljubavna pjesma," with Jugoton in 1975, marking the beginning of a prolific discography that includes over thirty studio albums, compilations, and live recordings in gold, platinum, and diamond editions. He received numerous prestigious awards, including the Order of Danica Hrvatska with the effigy of Marko Marulić, and performed at renowned venues like Carnegie Hall in New York, the Royal Albert Hall in London, the Olympia in Paris, and the Sydney Opera House.
