Baba Ndiaye, a Senegalese rapper also known as Ngaaka Blindé, emerged from the working-class district of Dakar, where he began writing lyrics at just nine years old. After a series of group and solo projects, including winning a rap competition in 2013, he gained recognition for his unique sound blending organic instruments with his rap style. Despite a brief stint in prison in 2018, he continued to release music, including the album Secret 7 and the EP featuring the standout track "Vradj". Ndiaye is also dedicated to supporting young talent through his label Mbarakillah, and has collaborated with fellow artists such as Sidy Diop and One Lyrical on tracks like "Djiguen".
In 2023, Ndiaye further expanded his musical repertoire with the release of "Kitoko", showcasing his versatility as an artist.
