Ernesto Bernal Contreras, also known as "Neto Bernal," was born on October 1, 1997, in Mexicali, Baja California. Showing a passion for music from a young age, he began participating in singing contests in Mexicali at the age of 5, with the support of his parents. Despite being selected for a competition in Mexico City at 12, he was unable to participate due to age restrictions. Bernal continued to compete in local contests until he was discovered by his artistic representative at the age of 17 through childhood and teenage videos on Facebook, ultimately leading to a record deal with Universal Music Latin Entertainment/Fonovisa Records in 2017.
