Neon Hitch, a British singer/songwriter with a Bohemian upbringing in a circus performer family, ventured into music after traveling and settling in London. With influences ranging from hip-hop to world sounds, Hitch signed with Mike Skinner's label The Beats before moving to Warner Bros. in 2010. Her debut LP, Beg, Borrow and Steal, faced delays, leading to the release of singles like "Fuck U Betta" and "Gold" with Tyga. Despite setbacks, Hitch's career continued with the release of the Happy Neon EP and mixtape 301 to Paradise, before parting ways with Warner Bros. and embarking on the unreleased Eleutheromaniac.
After several false starts, Neon Hitch finally found success with her official debut album, Anarchy, released in 2016. The album featured the single "Please" and marked a new chapter in her music career following the setbacks of scrapped projects like Beg, Borrow and Steal and Eleutheromaniac. Throughout her journey, Hitch maintained a strong presence in the music scene with collaborations and solo releases that showcased her edgy dance-pop style and eclectic influences.
