The band was formed on February 25, 2012, in Lomas de Zamora, Buenos Aires, Argentina, with leader and music producer Franco Zeta and musical director Daniel Vázquez. They brought together musicians, a DJ, and dancers to create a band and prepare a show, establishing their unique style known as "REMIXTON," blending dance music with Latin rhythms and Reggaeton. Their debut single, "Bailan Rochas y Chetas," became an instant hit, reaching audiences worldwide and enabling Nene Malo to tour extensively across 18 countries including Uruguay, Mexico, USA, and Europe. Their latest 2017 single, "Zumba Nalgota," was created specifically for the Zumba movement and is gaining traction, particularly in the United States.
