Swedish synth-pop duo NASA, comprised of Patrik Henzel and Martin Thors, gained success in their home country in the mid-1980s with hit singles and their LP, Power of the Century. Despite initial plans to break into the American market, their debut album was shelved by Columbia Records in 1987. After a period of commercial disappointment, NASA regrouped in the late '90s to release Remembering the Future in 1999, which was later licensed for U.S. release by Ninthwave Records in 2000.
