Biography

Formed in 1978 by Nacho Garcia and Carlos Pascow, Nacha Pop quickly gained popularity in the Spanish pop/rock scene with hits like "Chica de Ayer" and "Sol del Caribe." The band's self-titled debut album, produced by Teddy Bautista, solidified their success, leading to further albums like Buena Disposicion and Mas Numeros, Otras Letras. After disbanding in 1988 following a final live performance and release of Nacha Pop 1980-1988, their music continued to be celebrated, with their song "Lucha de Gigantes" featured in the film Amores Perros in 2001.
