N2Deep

N2Deep, the pioneering Chicano gangsta rap duo consisting of James Trujillo (Jay Tee) and Timothy Lyon (TL), gained recognition in the early '90s after signing with Profile Records. Their debut album, "Back to the Hotel" (1992), marked their entry into the music scene, but subsequent releases fell short of their initial success. Despite this, N2Deep continued to resonate with underground audiences in Northern California throughout the decade, with their best material being compiled into two separate best-of albums by Soul Town (1999) and 40 Ounce (2002).
