Since forming in 2005, Massar Egbari has made a significant impact on the Arabic music scene with their progressive tunes and thought-provoking lyrics. Their music, characterized by a diverse blend of influences, has garnered them a dedicated following worldwide. The band has received numerous accolades, including two Middle East Music Awards (MEMA) and the title of "Artists for Intercultural Dialogue" by UNESCO in 2010. With performances in over 40 cities across the globe, Massar Egbari has solidified their reputation as one of the leading independent music acts, releasing three albums to date: "E’era El Khabar" in 2013, "To’aa we t’oum" in 2015, and "El Album" in November 2018.

The band consists of Hany El Dakak on vocals and guitar, Ayman Massoud on keyboards, Mahmoud Siam on guitars, Ahmed Hafez on bass, and Tamer Atalla (Toussy) on drums.
