Marta Sánchez

Marta Sánchez rose to fame as the lead singer of Spanish dance-pop group Ole Ole in the mid-1980s before launching a successful solo career in the early 1990s. After scoring hits with Ole Ole, she signed with Mercury Latino and released her debut solo album, Mujeres, in 1994, featuring the hit "Desesperada." Throughout the 90s, Sánchez continued to release successful albums such as Woman, My World, Mi Mundo, Azabache, and Desconocida, followed by best-of compilations in the late 90s and early 2000s, solidifying her status as a Latin pop star.
