Mark Lowry, a Christian singer, songwriter, and comedian from Houston, Texas, found his passion for entertainment while studying business at Liberty University. After gaining recognition for his comedic talents, he joined the Gaither Vocal Band as a baritone in 1988. Lowry released a series of comedy albums and solo projects throughout the '90s, including The Last Word, Mouth in Motion, and Remotely Controlled. He briefly left the Gaither Vocal Band in 2001 but returned in 2009, releasing albums like Unplugged and Unplanned and Whatcha Need: Live in Nashville.
In 2015, Lowry released the contemporary Christian album How We Love on the Green Hill label, followed by the comedic music album Dogs Go to Heaven in 2016, which reached the top five on both the comedy and Christian albums charts. Known for his blend of music and humor, Lowry continues to captivate audiences with his unique talents and engaging performances.
