Marion Meadows is an American saxophonist and composer known for his distinctive sound in contemporary jazz and adult contemporary R&B. With a focus on the soprano saxophone, Meadows' music features a sharp-edged yet warm tone with a strong sense of lyricism. After making his leader debut in 1990 with For Lovers Only, Meadows quickly rose to prominence in the smooth jazz scene, with albums like Forbidden Fruit and Dressed to Chill achieving success on the jazz charts. His latest album, Twice as Nice, was released in 2021.

Born in West Virginia and raised in Connecticut, Meadows began his musical journey on the clarinet before transitioning to the saxophone. He honed his skills at Berklee College of Music and went on to work with notable artists like Norman Connors and Bob James.
