Mariachi El Bronx

Mariachi El Bronx emerged as the alter ego of Los Angeles punk band The Bronx in 2006, when the band sought to challenge themselves musically by exploring Latin sounds. The project came to life when The Bronx were asked to play an acoustic set and instead of simplifying their sound, they delved into a new musical direction. Mariachi El Bronx released their self-titled debut in 2009 and continued to evolve, blending synthesizers and electronics with traditional mariachi on their third album, "Mariachi El Bronx (III)," in 2014.
