Manzanita

Raised in a proud gypsy family, José Ortega Heredia, also known as Manzanita, was influenced by his troubadour father and dancer mother to join the rhumba and flamenco scene. In the early '70s, he formed the traditional flamenco band Los Chorbos with Amador Losada, Miguel Losada, and Alfonso Gabarre. Transitioning to solo work in 1978, Manzanita released Poco Ruido y Mucho Duende, marking the beginning of his successful solo career.
