Emmanuel Rodriguez, born in Aguadilla, Puerto Rico in 1981, grew up in a troubled neighborhood but found solace in writing songs about his experiences. After embracing Christianity in 1996, he began incorporating his faith into his music, setting himself apart in the reggaeton genre. Releasing his debut solo album "Realidades" in 2002 under the name Manny Montes, he gained recognition with hits like "La Vida que Nace de Muerte" and went on to collaborate with other Christian rappers on successful projects, including the album "United Kingdom." Despite facing resistance, Montes' music continues to spread a message of hope and truth, challenging perceptions within the industry and the church.
