Hailing from Luleå, Sweden, Machinae Supremacy is an alternative metal band known for their video game- and anime-inspired music, exceptional guitar work, and distinctive vocals, earning them the genre label of SID-metal. Formed in 2000, Machinae Supremacy embraced the power of the internet by sharing their music through P2P networks, building a strong fanbase. They self-financed two albums before signing with Spinefarm Records, where they released five albums over a decade. Notable achievements include performing with the Royal Philharmonic Orchestra, contributing to video game soundtracks, and maintaining artistic independence with their own label.
