Formed in 1998 by VERBAL and ΓÿåTaku Takahashi, m-flo gained attention in Japan with LISA joining as vocalist. Their debut "the tripod e.p." in 1999 charted 9th on Oricon, leading to successful singles and albums. LISA left in 2002, but VERBAL and ΓÿåTaku continued with the unique "Loves" series. Collaborating with 41 artists, m-flo became a force in Japanese music, performing at prestigious venues and festivals. In 2017, the original trio reunited after 15 years, marking their 20th anniversary and preparing to release new music as the original "tripod."
